Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services Co., Ltd., (Boeing Shanghai) today announced the signing of a maintenance agreement with Chinese-based SF Airlines Co. Ltd (SF Airlines) for its Boeing Classic 737 and 767-300 freighters. With this contract, Boeing Shanghai has made a major step forward to expand its aircraft maintenance services in the fast-growing Chinese cargo market.

"SF Airlines' long-term development strategy requires the highest world standard aircraft maintenance services to ensure safety and on-time performance. We truly believe that Boeing Shanghai is our best choice and our cooperation will be productive and mutually beneficial," expressed by SF Airlines.

The first airplane is already undergoing a C-check in Boeing Shanghai's facilities at Shanghai Pudong International Airport and more airplanes will follow on a nose-to-tail basis. A C-check is an extensive check of the airplane's systems and components that can require several days to perform.

"The contract is a testimonial for Boeing Shanghai's reputation in the Chinese cargo market and we appreciate SF Airlines' trust in our services," said Dermot Swan, CEO of Boeing Shanghai. "Boeing Shanghai's commitment to providing flexible maintenance services with exceptional value and high quality to SF Airlines will support its domestic and international business expansion. We look forward to a long-term rewarding partnership with them."

Established in 2009, SF Airlines' commitment to providing safe and efficient air express services to SF Express, a well-known delivery services company in China, ensures the core competitiveness of SF Express' delivery services. Currently, SF Airlines has an all-cargo aircraft fleet of 39 aircraft composed of Boeing 767s, 757s and 737s. It operates the largest all-cargo aircraft fleet in China and its air cargo volume is increasing year by year. SF Airlines plans to develop more capacity resources in the future to ensure the highest quality standard air express services to its customers.
