Recently, AviaAM Leasing, a Warsaw Stock Exchange-listed aircraft leasing company, has sold Airbus A321-211 from its fleet with lease attached contract to Yamal Airlines, which has been delivered to the operator in mid-October 2017.

Airbus A321-211 was sold to the new lessor on the 18th of January, 2018.

Before the transaction, the aircraft was leased to the operator in October 2017 after the full customisation. In accordance with the carrier’s requirements, AviaAM Leasing together with the MRO partner FL Technics has conducted a comprehensive set of works, including a 12 year check, cabin refurbishment and livery change. The aircraft features 220 seats and is powered by 2 CFM56 engines. The aircraft will mainly be used by the carrier on flights covering local destinations across the Russian Federation.

“Our fruitful cooperation with Yamal Airlines started back in 2011. Currently the carrier is operating 8 CRJ200s leased from our company. We are very proud to have maintained continuous business relationship with this award-winning carrier”, shares Tadas Goberis, Chairman of the Board and CEO of AviaAM Leasing.
