Shannon based aviation company Atlantic Aviation Group have this week announced the appointment of Cathal Kilmartin as a non-executive Director at the company.

Clare native Mr Kilmartin is a consultant to the aviation industry and former CEO of Santos Dumont (consultancy and asset management company for aviation and leasing industry) having worked there for a period of 12 years.

“We are delighted to have someone of Cathal’s considerable experience joining our team,” said Patrick Jordan, Atlantic Aviation Group Executive Chairman.

“His extensive knowledge of the aviation industry will play a big role in guiding our company growth plans into the future.”

Atlantic Aviation Group are an aviation solutions company specialising in Aircraft Maintenance, Aviation Training (Atlantic Aviation Institute), Design Engineering and Continuing Airworthiness Management based in Shannon Airport. Over 50 years old, they were acquired in April 2015 by Mayo man Patrick Jordan who has overseen significant change and growth over the past two years.
