October 4, 2017 – Zurich, Switzerland: SR Technics, a world leading MRO service provider is pleased to announce that its Integrated Component Services (ICS) agreement for Air Europa’s fleet of B737NG and A330 aircraft has been extended for five years. The renewal underpins the strong partnership between the two companies, and it strengthens SR Technics’ position as a leading global component service provider.

The new contract covers component maintenance services, logistics, access to pool stock and an on-site consignment stock for 31 aircraft from the Spanish carrier’s fleet. SR Technics will be providing the support for Air Europa from its existing European component service centers located in Spain, London and Zurich. The MRO’s flexibility in providing customized services along with highly competitive commercial terms and its proximity to Air Europa’s operations in Spain were all key to securing the contract renewal.

“Again, we have selected SR Technics to provide Component Services for our A330 and B737NG fleets for additional five years”, said Alberto Lines, Maintenance and Engineering Director at Air Europa. “By doing so, we renew our long-lasting trust in SR Technics thanks to the expertise, reliable services and flexibility they have shown by supporting us in a wide range of MRO services.”

“Air Europa is one of our key customers in Europe, and we have maintained a close partnership with the airline for over 25 years now,” said Michael Sattler, Chief Commercial Officer at SR Technics. “This recent contract renewal shows the trust and confidence that the company has in our service quality and performance. I would like to thank Air Europa for our long-standing collaboration, and we look forward to working closely with you in the years to come.”

In addition to this recent ICS contract renewal, SR Technics also provides component services for the airline’s Embraer fleet (E190s) as well as wheels and brakes support services for its entire fleet. Furthermore SR Technics offers MRO services for Air Europa’s CFM56-7B engines, and it recently supported Air Europa in refurbishing and upgrading the cabins of its A330 fleet.
