Paris, Amstelveen, 26 February 2018 - AFI KLM E&M and Air Corsica have concluded a support contract covering the CFM56-5B engines and nacelles equipping the Corsican carrier's A320 fleet. The contract covers on-wing/on-site support, shop visit scheduling and execution as well as access to spare engines.

Trust core to long-term cooperation
This latest agreement follows on from many others signed by the two companies in recent years, The Corsican carrier is both familiar and satisfied with the quality and reliability of AFI KLM E&M solutions. For its part, AFI KLM E&M has built up unrivalled expertise on the entire CFM56-5 family as the leading shop for maintaining this engine type on behalf of its AIR FRANCE parent, the launch airline for the A320. Its expertise covers both the technical and operational aspects of CFM56-5 maintenance, enabling AFI KLM E&M to meet the specific requirements of aircraft operators, especially as regards engine availability, offering ad hoc solutions such as the provision of spare engines.
